Masjid Al-Farooq

Masjid Al-Farooq, established in 1987, is the first mosque in Mississauga, located at 935 Eglinton Ave W. Named after Umar Al-Farooq (RA), it features an 8,500 sq. ft. building completed in 2007. The mosque offers daily prayers, Islamic education programs, and community services. It serves a diverse Muslim population and has plans for a 20,000 sq. ft. expansion to include a gymnasium and full-time school. As a registered charity, Masjid Al-Farooq plays a vital role in the religious and social life of Mississauga's Muslim community.
